Chris Black Insurance was founded in 2008 by Chris Black who's a second generation Florida native with the mission to provide multiple lines of insurance products through a reputable independent insurance carrier network for customers across the state of Florida. His father Rick Black, a 27 year owner of Horace Mann Insurance, exposed Chris to the Insurance business in 2003. After graduating from the University of South Florida where he was a member of the Men's Golf team in 2006, Chris began working with his father's agency and studied all aspects of the business. Since the inception CBI has recognized that Florida's Property and Casualty Insurance Industry is constantly changing. By utilizing our vast network of National and Regional partner insurance carriers, we're able to react to the ever changing industry climate very quickly and efficiently. This allows us to provide specialized insurance solutions based on our customer's individual needs.
